Savvy Savings!

This week Marsh & Kroger extended their Mega Sale ad so my new friend and I went over the ads & our coupons, made our lists, and set out to go!  I got $233 worth of groceries for $106.11!  Now we will be set on everything for at least 2 weeks (on the milk/bread/egg front) and at least a couple of months on everything else :)

Kroger

4 gallons of milk $2.29 each (milk is almost never going on sale, boo!)

1 bag pretzels $1
3 bags of chips $1 each (for tacos and snacks)
5 chip dip $1 each (had coupons for 3 of them)
1 jar of yeast for our bread machine
1 package of Angel Soft $1 (had a .50 coupon that doubled to $1)...FREE
2 Gatorade $1 each (had a coupon buy one get one free)
20 Dole Jar of fruits $1 each (had a coupon for $1 off each container)...FREE
dog food 15.99 for a 50lb bag

Subtotal: 86.46  Paid: 40.62...Saved 50% off of my order.

I had 2 transactions since Marsh will only double 2 of the same coupons per transaction.

2 packages of Fiber One yogurt (on sale for $2 but had a .50 coupon that doubled to $1; so after the coupon $1 a package)
1 loaf of bread  .75
1 box popcorn $1 (had a .50 coupon that doubled to $1)

4 Jacks pizzas $10
2 boxes of popcorn (had a .50 coupon that doubled to $1)
2 Fiber One yogurt packages (on sale for $2 but had a .50 coupon that doubled to $1; so after the coupon $1 a package)
11 boxes of pop tarts $1
14 packages of jello/pudding  on sale for 1.99 but had a .60 coupon and if you bought 10 you got $5 off
3 boxes of Mac n' Cheese .99 each  (had a $1 off coupon for each box)....FREE
Lunch Meat: turkey/ham (had $1 off coupon)
2 packages of muffin mix $1 each (had .50 coupon that doubled to $1)....FREE
2 packages of potatoes $1each (had .50 coupon that doubled to $1)....FREE
3 packages of cheese (had .75 off coupons for each package)
2 packages of kids Yoplait yogurt (had .75 off coupons)

Subtotal: $137.76  Paid: $62.74
